beauty beast

my friend steve met these sweet beasts,
adorned with horns.
magical and mystical,
they suggest the unknow.
i want to hug the old,
and worship their young.
may we all connect with the sweet beast within.

Big animals are excellent, I realy like going to peoples properties out in the country where huge cows just come and check you out because they are curious creatures. Sometimes they are realy bold and come close enough for to scratch them behind the ear and they seem to become happy.

polish beer taste like beer, what you should try is polish vodka Zubrowka(Bizon vodka of course) with a long piece of grass inside(beloved bisons food of grass they love pissing on, i’m not sure, tastes delicious tough) and drink it very cold mixed with apple&mint juice(or apple juice mixed with mint leaves on crashed ice)… these beast are vegetarian…:)i don’t think you will find that vodka on your continent but you will find it in uk. try any waitrose. cause you will come back here one day. waiting for your album. i am. glass of red wine for your inspiration!!!

Melissa, I downloaded your first album illegally (forgive me) last year or so, and it turned out to be very nice. Now I’m waiting for ze new one (for purchase, of course!!) Why am I even telling you this? I need attention from beautiful rock stars. I’m sorry.

Anyway, I like your music and I’m eagerly waiting to hear more of it. And also, hoping that you’re gonna play a gig or few in Finland 😛

  11. DOMINIC Gauthier says:

    YES, they are beautiful animals.
I like the baby one with his curly hair. The old one make me think a little bit of me! je veux dire il a vraiment l’air bête , comme moi.

My torments, my worries erase my natural happiness side.

Dominic von Lunatic , need your help!

i’m listening to the cure disntegration album cause it feels right, now, it’s raining outside and I’ve been walking in old fashion soccer shorts and hat on jumping above puddles’ rain is like joy mixed with coldness and pain you can stand and enjoy. awarness of being alive, cause on a hot sunny day i disapear. and all i can find after is a sand in my bag, hair, mouth…and i love it too, but it’s raining at the moment still…”whenever i’m alone with you you make me feel like i am free again whenever i’m alone with you you make me clean again” that’s robert smith speaking through me:)i will keep listening and dreaming of Niagara Falls and recommend you Emir Kusturica movie under title “Life is a miracle”

p.s. Melissa I broke a string today so my bass is three string bass and it is easier to be experimental this way;)i’ll buy new on friday

  14. DorotaAusPolen says:

    They look snuggly!

I happened upon your music 2 years ago in a library! My mom drove me 30 minutes to a library in a different county, and I picked up a brilliant orange cd with a cool rocker chic on it. It was the coolest thing that I’ve heard! I still listen to Auf Der Maur; I put the cd into my boyfriend’s car stereo and he couldn’t believe a woman was making music like that (he was impressed).

It’s great that you have so many outlets for your creativity. I’m in a huge rut in the way of expression. But anywho, I can’t wait for the new cd! I tried listening to your top picks for Cd’s and am amazed that your music sounds NOTHING like what you listen to. In a world of recycled story lines, lyrics, riffs, photos and fashion, we need your creative genius. Thank-you. You are an inspiration to me and I’m sure a lot of others.

    A Question for Dorota:
Does “Fastination street” is the name of a cars’ movie ?

I’m always listening your firts solo-album like it was the firts time, so much I love your work Melissa! And I’m hurry to see you at your next MONTREAL SHOW!

    Take care! XX

    Beasts of honor? 😛

Stevey yaaay! I’m excited to see new stuff from all of you. Moufette is wonderful, Auf der Maur is STILL wonderful, and will forever be wonderful 🙂

I went to South Dakota over the summer and saw numerous herds of buffalo. I was very close to them… and donkeys, too, which we fed apples to despite the signs advising against it 😉 We’re rebels! 😛

    Hope you’re feeling happy 🙂

  19. DOMINIC Gauthier says:

    correction of “hurry sentence”:
I’m looking forward to seeing you again to one of your show at Montreal.
    Sorry for my english mistake.
    After all I stay a Quebecer…

I broke a string yesterday. I got so angry about it, because the other three sounded so beautiful (they’re brand new)but I had to use one of the old strings to rehearse, and it almost produced no sound. Anyway, I was pretty happy because the rest was incredibily powerful. You could feel how the bass was making the whole place vibrate.
New gig next friday. I’m really looking forward to it.
    Take care.
    Huge hug! =)
