in the grey

Photobucket
there is a beauty that comes in black and white.
it is very strong.
unlike ornate beauties full of color and shapes,
it is very simple and straight forward.
it seems to speak of action more than feeling.
you can only visit there within a frame.
i want to step in,
ride that horse,
and this there ship.

hello from me to you,
this new season.
it’s been slow around here-
but this season will change that.
may the heat melt the red tape~ in black and white!!!!!!

You inspired me to learn to play bass at the age of 16. Your style still resonates with me. I hope that you are very well, and wish you happy exploration.

Oh no , I'm so late with my comment, and Melissa is talking about The Sacred B&W. Man, B&W is "The Media". I have been doing B&W for the longest time. I started when I was about 10 years old, I didn't understand a thing and worked out how all the process worked by trial and error. I had no idea about the concept of the latent image for some time when I used to blast pieces of 5×7 paper with an old negative from the parents box brownie collection clamped on it to make contact prints wondering why it went completely black when it hit the developer, must need more exposure.

    Anyhow I digress.
    B&W is great.

  23. L. Nielsen says:

Your texts are very nice, just like your music, you're really an artist!!! :)

I would try to understand deeply the essence of this post, but it's a little hard when you have no time x.x

But I'll try later, for now, I just want to say how I admire you and your work. <3

    Have a nice day, Melissa.

    Hugs.

  24. pitesnet says:

    i'm completely agree with you.
this is the reason why i just photograph in b&w.
i would take out the shape of things.
    the marrow.
    the soul.
    colours are just a surplus.
