i have been making this new album.
although there is no noise of it out there yet,
i swear it is brewing.
i have been patient with the sounds inside.
not rushing…….but now there is a rush of clarity.
straight to the heart,
up to the head,
and out of my fingers and mouth.
in the next three months,
i am gonna finish what i started,
one year ago, alone in the snow,
on my loving 4-track.
the vision and mission statement,
has made itself known now.
i am so eager to share……

Belated happy birthday for the 17th of March Melissa, I suppose I just don’t get about enough.
As for patience, if theres one thing I’ve learned over time it is that. In fact after waiting so long for everything the word loses all meaning because if you have to wait for anything then it makes no difference if you have patience or not you still have to wait and no amount of patience will make any difference.
So you just stay mellow and write as you see feel like it.
I should imagine EMI/Capitol Records are the ones who lack patience.

I‘ve turned a year older last month myself but don‘t feel much like it. Well, my body does probably a bit after there was a Placebo surprise concert for free here and I am still collecting my bones from the floor and mend the bruises, as I happened to get caught in the mob and didn‘t get out until I decided for crowdsurfing in the end, haha…holy shit, I‘m not used to this anymore! But it was great though.
I‘m currently discovering the joys of effects pedals for electric guitars as my plan to get an acoustic didn‘t turn out. These things are fun!
Music/art is like a fine wine, it’s best when it gets enough time to develop…but I know the pressure one can put on themselves to create something new and show it around when you’re satisfied…it’s what makes life worth living!

Most of the people seemed to sit back and randomly choose things for the list. I was impressed that you went through the effort of making several pages of notes and the detail that you put into it.
