a victorian mansion with a window’s walk.
someone’s life left behind in mold,
poodles were bred in this rambling house,
it seems many people had lived or squatted with them.
a mysterious history wanting to be known.
i only had 20 minutes,
i would like to go back.

It’s been a long time.
Interesting story. I’ve always wanted to visit a haunted house.
It seems it’s getting really cold out there. You’re wearing a heavy coat. I think I’m about to start missing winter (we’re at 38ºC…melting).
Making music, as usual. Completely hooked up with my band’s new sound.
We’ve recently started rehearsing twice a week, which should really help us sound even better.
I have a new job, and I’m working way too much. At least, it seems something interesting, and I like most of the things I do.
I went to a concert last monday. Os Paralamas do Suceso (a brazilian band) played here, in Buenos Aires. It was such a great concert. They are incredibly tallented, and have such a powerful energy onstage. You should check them out. Their bass player, whose name is Bi, plays with his thumb! It’s really funny.
I’m REALLY looking forward to listening to your new music.

Im at home now, waiting for the holidays to start but then on the 27th im going to Austria for a week to visit a friend (one of the girls i was with at your concerts in Florence and Bologna 2 years ago!), so it’s going to be awesome!

I like fascinating old buildings too and that one looks marvellous. I like going through such buildings and working out what used to happen in them by examining the artifacts and clues within. why does someone like melissa who seems to like so much that I do have to live as far away from me as is geographcally possible. It’s just not fair.

“I have this memory, like a ghost haunting me, of a man who died several times in his sleep.”
This is part of something I wrote in the night of saturday-sunday, in a hotel in Boston. I just had to wake up for it. That’s why I always keep a notepad with me wherever I go, like Boston.
Now I’m back in Québec, my frozen hell, and only waiting before I leave for europe in a month, and I feel as if I didn’t belong in my house, as if I were haunting it. I might never get enough of the sweet taste of “elsewhere”. Waking up in a different bed, in another room, another city, a new country. Somehow it doesn’t even feel like it’s the same world.
in the same way we can see through telescopes stars that ceased to exist millions, billions, trillions, garfillions, (quite a lot) of years ago – so we can visit homes that have energies left behind by others, energies that bounce between walls.
There are loads of notourious haunted houses round where I live, round the world. Best not to be scarred of them. No-one has been killed by a ghost.
If there are ghosts – why do they choose to scare those entering their domain?
For the fun of watching those in their domain shit themselves, and generally be freaked to fuck by a flying tea pot of a creaking floor board.
It must be boring being a ghost, trapped in an old building. So why not do things to wind up the living.
And decor – you buy an old house, it supposed to be haunted, but you do it inthe modern style anyway.
Of course the ghost of the house is going to be pissed – they like the designs of their era. They may be some translucent being, neitehr of thsi world or the other, but they have still got to look at the fucking lousy modern decor in their old home.
Must piss them right off.
haunted? I lived above a pub on Beak Street London ( Charles Dickens used to live next door) and … no it is a longer story and I have to get myself together to focus an describe what was going on in that pub I used to work for … and my first ghost expierience was here… in England
P.S. I’m in Brighton. In peagan land. Hedonism is always making me sad. My mistake. I should be with my sister(Alice, 38),my niece(Oliwia, 13), my mum (Elizabeth, 63), my father( Edmund, 64) but I decide to be completely on my own…

I used to live in a haunted house in Japan, or at least my mom said she saw a ghost in there.
Then again, she thought she saw a UFO from our plane.
I’m in a big, big house with no one but myself. It gets too quiet sometimes and I try to put on music, but I eventually get tired of the thousands of artists I have (?!) Isn’t it sad when you aren’t even captivated by the music that used to bring you to tears, or put you in a nostalgic mood?
It is nothing when you have to stay with the devil(and it is a couple-they love each other, and she is having dimonds on her fingers and they cost a lot of money but she knows I don’t care…about dimonds and money, she knows I have nothing just myself and that was she was longing for…and I knew…but she is the devil and he is as well and my friend came to Brighton after I came because they played with him and he is deep in depths…a talented irish guy, maybe an alcoholic, so the last person you want to cheat…and he told me 2 weeks ago, that I was right. they are evil couple ages ago, hmmmm but it is good ton recieve a confirmation, it is not, just listen to what i say, run and stay away

After 20 plus years in a musical hiatus (he is a great artist – painter – check out his artwork at BBC On-line Art Gallery) he has returned to play in Damon Albarn’s latest project “The Good, The Bad and The Queen” – the band has no name…
They have created my song of the 21st century – Kingdom of Doom. Click on the link to watch them perform the song on Jools Holland show. Also worth checking Myspace and their live concert at Wilton’s Hall, London. The drummer is Tony Allen, rated by Brian Eno as the best in the world and Simon Tong (ex-Verve) is on guitar.
