Hey XMADMX…I really enjoyed your poem. My husband and I saw your instore performance at newbury Comics in Boston over the summer and again early October at Axis. I doubt you would remember, but we were the couple rocking out HARDCORE right up at the stage to your left. I found out a few weeks after that show that I am pregnant. Turns out I was pregnant at the show, so I can tell my little girl that Auf der Maur was her first one! I thought that was kind of neat!

I’d like to congratulate you for your album. I went to your show in Montreal and I found it dramatically “formidable”. J’ai été une fan de Hole, puis de Smashing Pumpkins. Maintenant, je suis une fan de Melissa Auf Der Maur. Tu étais malade, le jour du concert au cabaret La Tulipe, un rhume, mais tu es tout de même venue. Tu as fait la première partie en acoustique. Tout le monde croyait que ce serait comme ça jusqu’à la fin. Ensuite, tu t’es mise à jouer les chansons comme sur l’album. Je crois qu’on a eu le meilleur : l’occasion de vous entendre, toi et ton groupe, en “unplugged” et en couleurs (métaphore).
J’ai très hâte de te revoir à Montréal. L’ambiance était très spéciale ce soir-là et j’ai été marquée. C’est peu dire : le spectacle était au mois de septembre je crois. Nous sommes en février!
