About MAdM

A multidisciplinary artist, MAdM was born in Montreal Canada. From 1994-1999 she was a member, songwriter and bass player for Hole culminating in the album “Celebrity Skin”. In 2000 she joined The Smashing Pumpkins for their farewell world tour. In 2004 “Auf der Maur”, her first solo album, was released by Capitol Records / EMI worldwide. MAdM is preparing the release up of her new multimedia project “Out of Our Minds”, featuring her next Album, Film, Comic Book and Web experience.

MELISSA AUF dER MAUR
L’artiste multidisciplinaire Melissa Auf der Maur est née à Montréal, Canada. De 1994 à 1999, elle a été membre, bassiste et auteur-compositeur du groupe rock Hole, collaboration qui a abouti à la sortie de l’album à succès Celebrity Skin. En 2000, Melissa s’est jointe au groupe The Smashing Pumpkins pour sa tournée mondiale d’adieux. En 2004, son album solo Auf der Maur est sorti sous l’étiquette Capitol Records/EMI. MAdM peaufine actuellement son projet multimédia Out of Our Minds, qui comprend son prochain album, un film, une bande dessinée et un site web.
